So sad to hear of Adrian's passing but have fond memories. We were pretty close friends throughout the 80s and 90s. I first met Adrian at Marconi's where he joined the Drawing Office where I was working as a trainee when he first left school. WE played golf together and in the 90s both joined Forrester's Golf club at Great Totham and used to play most weekends up until I moved away in 2000. We went on Golfing Holidays to Spain and Ireland with some other ex Marconi friends. Adrian and I also both had Triumph Spitfire's in the 80s and used to go to Triumph club meetings and events together. Later Adrian joined Mercury (later to become Cable & Wireless) where I was working so we again used to see each other regularly at work in London and at work social events. I have very fond memories of my old mate Adrian, rest in peace my good friend... Andy Cook
